1. What this website uses
Cookies and similar browser storage remember information between pages or visits. This website only uses what it needs to work: sign-in, security, your language, your bag and your privacy choice. Optional error reports stay off until you allow them. There is no advertising, no analytics tracker and no external video player on this website.
2. Strictly necessary
- va_cookie_consent (cookie, 180 days): remembers your privacy choice.
- sb-…-auth-token (cookies, until you log out or the session expires): keeps you signed in securely.
- lang (cookie, 1 year): remembers English or French.
- va-bag (browser storage, until you clear it): keeps the items in your bag between pages.
- va-install-dismissed (browser storage, until you clear it): stops the "install the app" suggestion from coming back after you close it.
3. Optional: error reports
When you allow it, your browser sends a short technical report if a page breaks unexpectedly. The report leaves out query strings, is limited in size and is cleaned of e-mail addresses, sign-in tokens and keys. Reports are stored in the academy's database and deleted after about 90 days. They are never used for advertising or profiling.
4. Phone notifications are a separate choice
Installing the Veras Academy app and turning on phone notifications has nothing to do with the cookie banner. "Accept all" never turns notifications on. A signed-in member switches them on in their account and allows them on the phone, and can switch them off again at any time.
5. Changing your mind
Refusing error reports does not change anything else on the website. You can change your choice at any time with the button below.
